Kunde & Co had already worked with LESER on a dedicated product campaign and afterwards developed a corporate concept as well as an online strategy and digital design. During the latter project, Kunde initiated the creation of a new website, the launch of which coincided with LESER’S 200th anniversary.
Inspiring knowledge: New LESER website offers added value
LESER is a world-renowned specialist in the production of safety valves for industrial and plant construction. With 200+ years of experience, LESER is the biggest producer in Europe and is a trusted partner for leading players across a number of industries – from petrochemicals to food.
Our research included a comprehensive listening study and interviews with internal and external stakeholders. We also looked into the weaknesses and potential strengths of the previous website, and analysed communication within the market to discover what new functions people desired – such as the possibility for know-how transfers.
These insights gave Kunde & Co’s digital department a perfect foundation from which to develop a new website, with phase one involving the creation of wireframes and first concept. Following several rounds of feedback with all relevant decision makers, the final design was chosen.
The end result was a user-friendly, intuitive website for LESER boasting a number of useful features such as a valve-sizing tool. As well as aligning with the company’s aesthetic, the site was also designed to be accessed on all digital and mobile devices. In other words, it was designed to be ready for the next 200 years of LESER.
